Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina, a former Governor of Oyo State is dead. The late politician’s demise was announced on Sunday.”Lam”, as he was fondly called by his admirers ruled Oyo State between 1999 and 2003. He was a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly in the Second Republic. He was until his death the leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria in Oyo State. He was seen as one of the strong pillars that held the party’s members together.
